About Me

I'm Kristen Riehle, C.Ht.

Certified Hypnotherapist, Master Hypnotist, Medium, Channel, and the founder and creator of Soul Therapy.

I help women understand themselves on a much deeper level—who they truly are, what has been subconsciously shaping their lives, and ultimately, why they are here—so they can create lives filled with more joy, excitement, meaning, connection, purpose, and peace.

But I didn't learn how to do this from a textbook alone.

I learned it because I had to.

My Journey to Soul Therapy

Living the Work Before Teaching It

Soul Therapy began in 2014 when I trained in Dolores Cannon's Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique (QHHT).

That experience opened the door to what would eventually become a much larger body of work. I went on to become certified in Timeline Alchemy coaching and later attended the Hypnosis Motivation Institute in California, where I formally trained as a hypnotherapist.

Over the years, I continued studying the subconscious mind, Neuro-Linguistic Programming, human behavior, identity, spirituality, astrology, universal laws, and the relationship between our internal programming and the lives we create.

At the same time, I was living my own version of the work.

I'm an intuitive empath who has spent much of my life navigating my own challenges with self-love, relationships, identity, belonging, and purpose.

I've had to uncover limiting subconscious beliefs I didn't even know were there. I've had to recognize patterns I didn't realize I was repeating. I've had to understand how my own thoughts and perceptions were influencing my reality—and then learn how to change them.

I've experienced my own Dark Nights of the Soul and periods when I had to question virtually everything I thought I knew about myself and my life.

And my spiritual experiences have been just as important to this work as my professional training.

I've had extensive firsthand experiences with altered and out-of-body states, communication with deceased loved ones and guides, and receiving spiritual information that helped me understand my own existence, relationships, challenges, and purpose from an entirely different perspective.

Eventually, I learned how to do the same for others.

Experience & Empathy

I Know This Work From Both Sides

One of the greatest advantages I have as a practitioner is that I haven't simply studied many of the things my clients bring to me.

I've lived them.

I know what it's like to consciously understand something and still find yourself repeating it. I know what it's like to wonder why relationships keep hurting in familiar ways, to struggle with your own identity, to search for purpose, and to recognize that something inside of you needs to change without having any idea how to reach the part of you that's actually creating the pattern.

And I also know what it feels like when those things finally begin to change.

I've done the work of learning my own subconscious mind, healing old wounds, changing deeply ingrained patterns, developing genuine self-love, and discovering a level of inner peace, joy, purpose, and personal transformation that once felt very far away.

That experience deeply influences the way I work with my clients today.

There is very little you can tell me that will shock me, scare me, or make me think less of you. I'm much more interested in understanding why.

Why is this happening?
Why does this keep repeating?
What is your subconscious mind trying to accomplish?
What are you being shown?
What does your soul want?
And what needs to change for your external life to begin reflecting what you know you want internally?

Those questions became the foundation of Soul Therapy.

Evolution of Practice

More Than a Decade of Transformation

For more than a decade, I've worked with clients from several different countries, ranging from teenagers to people well into later life, and from vastly different backgrounds and circumstances.

My earlier work included clients seeking support around addiction, physical and emotional challenges, relationships, subconscious behaviors, and deeply rooted personal patterns.

As Soul Therapy evolved, so did the focus of my work.

Today, I work primarily with successful women over 45 who have reached a point in their lives where accomplishment alone is no longer enough.

They want to understand themselves more deeply. They want more joy in their lives and healthier relationships with themselves and the people they love. They want to feel excited again, have something meaningful to look forward to, and know that whatever comes next actually means something to them.

And very often, underneath all of that, there is a much bigger question:
What am I actually here for?

Core Philosophy

Where Science Meets Spirituality

Soul Therapy grew from my belief that we don't have to choose between understanding the mind and understanding the soul.

Mind & Human Behavior

I use my professional training in hypnotherapy, subconscious reprogramming, Neuro-Linguistic Programming, identity work, behavioral techniques, and psychology.

Soul & Intuitive Expansion

Alongside astrology, mediumship, channeling, intuitive guidance, and spiritual principles.

Together, they allow us to look at the whole person—what you've experienced, what you've learned to believe, the subconscious patterns you've developed, who you naturally are, the challenges and gifts you've come into this life with, and what your soul may actually be trying to experience or accomplish while you're here.

I believe your soul came here with something to experience, something to learn, something to contribute—and a version of your life that is uniquely yours to create.

My job isn't to tell you who to become.

It's to help you understand yourself deeply enough to recognize what belongs to you, what doesn't anymore, what may be standing in your way, and what becomes possible when you finally know how to work with your own mind instead of unknowingly being controlled by it.

That is the work I have spent more than a decade learning, living, practicing, and developing...

...and THIS is Soul Therapy.
With love,
Kristen
Frequently Asked

Questions & Answers

Understanding the journey, credentials, and practice.
What led you to become a hypnotherapist and create Soul Therapy?

Soul Therapy actually came first.

I began this work in 2014 after becoming certified in Dolores Cannon's Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique (QHHT). What started there became a much bigger exploration into the subconscious mind, spirituality, human behavior, relationships, identity, and why we experience the patterns and challenges we do.

My own life was a huge part of that education. I wasn't simply interested in understanding these things professionally; I needed answers for myself. As I continued studying, practicing, working with clients, and going through my own transformation, I became increasingly interested in what happens when we stop looking at one piece of a person at a time.

Over the years, Soul Therapy evolved with me. What began in 2014 eventually became the Soul Therapy Method™ I use today, combining the subconscious, psychological, practical, neurological, and spiritual work I've accumulated throughout more than a decade of doing this.

What is your professional training and background?

My professional training is pretty extensive, and it spans both traditional hypnotherapy and the alternative and spiritual modalities that eventually became part of Soul Therapy.

I graduated from the Hypnosis Motivation Institute in California in 2019 after completing its two-year course of instruction in hypnosis, including practical experience under the supervision of credentialed staff instructors. HMI is the nation's first nationally accredited college of hypnotherapy.

I've maintained a private practice since 2014 and have continued my education throughout that time. My certifications and specialized training include:

  • Certified Hypnotherapist
  • Certified NLP Practitioner
  • Attachment Theory & Application
  • Pain Management Therapy
  • Fear & Anxiety Therapy
  • Weight Loss Program Master Facilitation
  • Inner Child Work
  • Smoking Cessation
  • ADD
  • Online & Phone Hypnotherapy
  • Light Coaching
  • Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique (QHHT)
  • Timeline Alchemy
  • Meditation Coaching
  • Law of Attraction Coaching
  • PSYCH-K
  • Chios Energy Healing

My additional studies and seminars have included Neuro-Linguistic Programming, Attachment Theory, hypnosis for pain management, fears and anxieties, weight loss, Inner Child Work, smoking cessation, adult and child ADD, Mental Bank, Foundations in Hypnotherapy, Timeline Alchemy, meditation, Law of Attraction, PSYCH-K, QHHT, and energy healing.

I'm also the creator of Soul Therapy: The Collective Transformation (2014), Your Personal Transformation System (2022), and Your Path to Purpose (2024).

So when I work with someone, I'm rarely looking at what she's experiencing through one particular theory or modality. I have a pretty large toolbox to pull from, and I use what makes sense for the person sitting in front of me.

What is it actually like to work with you?

I'm compassionate, but I'm also very direct. I'm not going to sit across from you, nod politely, and leave you wondering what I actually think.

I ask questions. A lot of them. I pay attention to patterns, contradictions, language, reactions, and the things underneath what you're telling me. I'll help you see what you may not be able to see while you're standing in the middle of it, and sometimes I'll lovingly point out something you probably would have preferred I didn't notice.

But there is never judgment behind it.

I've been on the other side of this work myself, and I know how vulnerable it can feel to let another person into the parts of your life you don't normally talk about. I want you to feel safe enough to tell me the truth—even when it's messy, embarrassing, confusing, or doesn't make perfect sense yet.

Then we figure out what's actually happening and what we're going to do about it together.

Why do you use so many different methods in your work?

Because people aren't one-dimensional, and I've never believed one method can explain everything about us.

Sometimes what you're dealing with is connected to a subconscious belief. Sometimes it's a learned coping mechanism, an attachment pattern, an old wound, a perception you've carried for years, or an identity you've outgrown. Sometimes there is a spiritual component that completely changes our understanding of what is happening.

That's why my education has taken me into so many different areas over the years. I wanted to understand the person as a whole rather than become so committed to one modality that everything had to fit inside it.

Soul Therapy allows me to bring those different disciplines together. We can look at subconscious programming and psychology while also exploring your birth chart, spiritual guidance, purpose, identity, relationships, behaviors, and the circumstances you're dealing with in your actual life.

I'm not interested in using a technique simply because I know it. I'm interested in figuring out what is happening with you, why it's happening, and what is most likely to help you change it.

That's also why Soul Therapy sessions can look very different from one person to another. The method is structured, but the person I'm using it with is always an individual.
